Like many people, I discovered Sun In An Empty Room by The Weakerthans through Heavyweight. The song perfectly sums up the show and both the song and the show hold a special place in my heart.
How so and why? I'm not exactly sure. I can relate to Heavyweight's content - there's a moment in my life that (I feel) changed everything, and the show makes me think about if things may have been different.
The song makes me reflect on the last 5 or so years in my life - the changes I've made and the chapters that have ended and started in my life. I strangely feel happy about the song - ending a chapter/period in my life brings a new adventure and memories.
